Water Immersion Porosity

Chemostrat’s water immersion porosimetry ( cWIP) method provides a method to measure RHOB and RHOM to provide porosity. This is routinely done on cuttings samples.

cWIP is a method developed by Chemostrat Inc to extend high fidelity WIP done on core samples to mass measurements done on hundreds of cuttings samples. It allows RHOB and RHOM to be determined on each sample analysed on FTIR-XRF, thereby providing a measure of porosity.

 

We have successfully compared our lab results with those derived from downhole (when they are run).
